About this role

Join a well-funded healthcare AI startup as a founding engineer to build hardware and software systems that deploy real-time AI directly into clinical environments. You'll architect an edge compute platform optimized for power and cooling constraints, moving the product from prototype to production launch in June 2026.

What you'll do

• Design systems orchestration, containerization, and firmware pipelines for high-performance compute in clinical settings
• Optimize GPU acceleration and CUDA kernels under strict power and cooling limitations
• Build production-grade RAG pipelines and distributed systems for reliable clinical decision-making
• Own architectural decisions for the full technical stack
• Define a new category of edge compute for real-time AI in exam rooms
