About this role

Muro AI, a venture-backed AI startup modernizing the construction industry, seeks a Founding Engineer to build the core platform end-to-end. You'll architect scalable services, develop a desktop application using Electron, and create integrations that automate pre-construction workflows for a $13 trillion market.

What you'll do

• Design and implement Node.js/TypeScript backend services and multi-tenant architecture
• Lead development of Electron desktop application for Mac and Windows with offline sync capabilities
• Build integration framework connecting to Procore, SharePoint, and Excel
• Own critical technical decisions and platform architecture as an early team member
• Implement DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure on GCP or Supabase
• Scale applications from launch through customer adoption
