About this role

Monty AI seeks a founding hardware engineer to lead the development of a tactile glove system that generates training data for humanoid robots. You'll design the complete hardware stack, including sensors, PCBs, and firmware, while collaborating with world-class founders and accessing exclusive MEMS sensor technology.

What you'll do

• Lead tactile glove hardware program from design through pilot production
• Design rigid-flex PCB architecture with power distribution and signal integrity
• Develop low-level firmware for sensor data acquisition and deterministic streaming
• Integrate novel MEMS-based tactile sensors into the system
• Manage external mechanical and industrial design partners
• Ensure ergonomics, durability, and manufacturability of wearable hardware
