About this role

Design and build high-performance networking infrastructure for an AI-native cloud platform at a First Round Capital-backed startup. You'll architect next-generation SDN systems using Rust and Go, handling millions of requests daily for top AI companies.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement high-performance dataplanes using VPP, DPDK, eBPF, and XDP
• Build distributed control-plane systems for IPAM, L2/L3 routing, and traffic management
• Design and operate bare-metal networking clusters with IPv6-only addressing
• Develop cloud primitives optimized for serverless agentic AI workloads
• Implement global traffic routing services and networking observability instrumentation
