Software Engineer (+ Equity) at Sapiom

About this role

Sapiom, a seed-stage fintech startup, is seeking a foundational software engineer to build payment and identity infrastructure enabling AI agents to transact autonomously. You'll own end-to-end systems for agent wallets, spending controls, and multi-rail payments while working directly with a world-class founding team from Shopify, Affirm, and Modern Treasury.

What you'll do

• Design and implement financial infrastructure for AI agent wallets and automated payment systems
• Architect core platform systems in collaboration with founders
• Develop automated systems for AI agents to navigate the API economy and provision services
• Build Know Your Agent (KYA) protocols and identity verification systems
• Execute multi-rail payment solutions at scale
