About this role
Jensen Hughes seeks entry-level to senior engineers with Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) or Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) expertise to support nuclear industry clients on risk-based projects. Work remotely or from the West Chester, PA office on meaningful safety and regulatory initiatives spanning plant operations, advanced nuclear designs, and next-generation risk methods.
What you'll do
- Develop and enhance PRA models for internal events, fire, seismic, and external hazards
- Support risk-informed licensing strategies and regulatory submittals (RICT, 50.69, ILRT extensions)
- Conduct human reliability analysis and severe accident scenario evaluations
- Apply online risk tools and explore advanced optimization methods
- Advise on advanced nuclear regulations and next-generation reactor initiatives
- Mentor early-career engineers and communicate technical findings to diverse audiences
