Consultant/Engineer - PRA and PSA

About this role

Jensen Hughes seeks engineers with PRA/PSA expertise to support nuclear industry clients on risk-informed projects spanning modeling, regulatory strategy, and advanced nuclear initiatives. Work collaboratively on meaningful safety and reliability challenges for established nuclear plants and next-generation designs, with opportunities for remote work.

What you'll do

• Develop and enhance PRA models for internal events, fire, seismic, and external hazards
• Support risk-informed licensing applications and regulatory strategies (RICT, 50.69, ILRT)
• Conduct human reliability analysis and severe accident evaluations
• Apply online risk tools and explore advanced optimization methods
• Advise on advanced nuclear regulations and next-generation reactor initiatives
• Communicate technical findings to stakeholders and mentor junior engineers
