K2 Space is seeking a HITL Testbed Engineer to design, implement, and maintain critical test assets integrating flight-like hardware and simulations. This role is crucial for validating system designs and verifying software, contributing directly to the success of their high-growth satellite program. You’ll work on hardware and software testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the scalability of their HITL testbeds.

What you'll do

  • Design and document high-fidelity vehicle testbeds.
  • Operate HITL testbeds for system validation and on-orbit operations support.
  • Integrate and test flight representative hardware.
  • Create hardware simulation equipment in collaboration with engineers.
  • Maintain and document HITL table configurations and GSE racks.
  • Design and create harness drawings for ground support equipment.
