About this role

Kairos Power seeks an IC&E Engineer to develop and implement instrumentation and control systems for TRISO particle fabrication in their advanced nuclear fuels program. You'll design, construct, and optimize process automation equipment while collaborating with process engineers, operations, and safety teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement process automation control systems aligned with safety design approaches
• Create equipment and instrumentation specifications for tanks, vessels, valves, lines, and pumps
• Prepare and maintain equipment and instrumentation lists and technical data sheets
• Support CAD design team coordination for control system integration
• Collaborate cross-functionally with facility operations, quality assurance, and EHS teams
• Commission and optimize process equipment and automation systems
