Infrastructure Engineer

About this role

Kalshi is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and scale the systems powering its prediction market exchange platform. You'll own greenfield infrastructure projects across the full DevOps stack, from deployment pipelines to high-performance trading APIs, with significant autonomy and visible impact in a small, high-performing team.

What you'll do

• Build and standardize CI/CD pipelines, versioning, testing, and deployment infrastructure
• Architect large-scale systems balancing performance, risk, and maintainability
• Develop and maintain high-performance data feeds and trading APIs
• Support clearing systems with high availability, margining, collateral management, and banking integrations
• Stress-test and harden critical systems for robustness and scalability
• Automate testing frameworks across unit, API, and integration layers
