DevSecOps Engineer III

About this role

A senior-level role focused on integrating development, security, and operations to build and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on AWS. The DevSecOps Engineer III designs secure, scalable systems using infrastructure-as-code tools while monitoring for vulnerabilities and implementing best practices across enterprise cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Build and deploy AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation and OpenTofu templates
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline for automated deployments
• Design and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions with optimized RTO/RPO
• Monitor systems and create alarms to track operational excellence, costs, and performance
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
• Document processes and maintain AWS governance mechanisms across the organization

• AWS (SysOps, Solutions Architect, or Developer certification preferred)
• Infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, OpenTofu)
• CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
• Container-based deployments and distributed systems at scale
• AWS services (ECS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, WAF, GuardDuty, CloudFront, Route 53)
• Observability tools (DataDog, CloudWatch)
• Application and infrastructure security
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Competitive salary range of $117,800–$189,000
• Annual incentive compensation eligibility up to 10%
