AI Automation Engineer - On Site

About this role

K Group Companies seeks an AI Automation Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered automation solutions for internal operations and client engagements. This hands-on builder role combines workflow engineering, client delivery, and internal adoption support within a family-owned technology integrator based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

What you'll do

• Design and build AI automation workflows using n8n, Python, and APIs (ConnectWise, Microsoft 365, SharePoint)
• Lead client delivery engagements from implementation through optimization, managing requirements translation and stakeholder communication
• Develop intelligent systems including classification pipelines, compliance review processes, and monitoring tools
• Create reusable delivery frameworks, templates, and documentation to scale consulting engagements
• Support internal AI adoption by building training materials and tracking adoption metrics tied to business outcomes
• Implement multi-provider LLM architectures with configurable confidence thresholds and fallback logic
