Analytics Engineer, Treasury & Payments

About this role

KOHO is hiring an Analytics Engineer to design and maintain robust data pipelines supporting treasury and payments operations. You'll collaborate across banking, security, and finance teams to build scalable reporting infrastructure that powers fund processing and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable financial data pipelines from scoping through delivery
• Build operational data models supporting internal reporting, audits, and money movements
• Apply modelling frameworks (Kimball, event streams, entity tables) tailored to banking use cases
• Optimize pipeline performance and implement data quality monitoring
• Partner with Payment Operations, Tech, Security, and Finance to define data requirements
• Document solutions and establish best practices for the analytics team

• Advanced DBT expertise (materializations, snapshots, macros, Jinja)
• Strong SQL with query optimization and performance tuning
• Modern data stack tools (DBT Core/Cloud, Git)
• Financial data modelling and banking domain knowledge
• Cross-functional collaboration and communication
• Problem-solving and proactive initiative
• AI-assisted development tools
• Redshift experience (preferred)
