Founding Platform Engineer

About this role

Kos is building AI-powered virtual finance employees for infrastructure and defense companies drowning in complex invoicing and contract work. As Founding Platform Engineer, you'll architect the core systems enabling this virtual employee to operate with real identity, permissions, and presence across enterprise tools.

What you'll do

• Build unified platform presence across email, Teams, Slack, Zoom, and phone systems
• Design identity, RBAC, and audit logging that passes enterprise security reviews
• Create integrations with ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and productivity platforms (SharePoint, Google Drive)
• Own production deployment, observability, and on-call operations as customer base scales
• Streamline deployment processes to enable customer onboarding in days
• Set hiring standards and engineering culture for the platform team
