Full Stack Engineer, Guarded Releases

About this role

LaunchDarkly seeks an experienced Full Stack Engineer for the Guarded Releases team to build safer, faster software release systems. You'll own end-to-end feature development across observability and release automation products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve critical challenges in modern software delivery.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with product, design, data science, and engineering to architect observability products aligned with business goals
• Drive comprehensive end-to-end feature development from proof of concept through delivery with full ownership
• Identify and implement product and user experience improvements using data insights and customer feedback
• Lead code reviews, spec reviews, and architecture design to ensure scalability and maintainability
• Stay current with development trends and propose forward-thinking improvements to tools and processes

What they're looking for

• Full-stack development (3-5+ years professional experience)
• TypeScript and React frontend development
• Go or similar backend languages
• RESTful API design and implementation
• Data-focused product development (analytics, experimentation platforms, visualizations)
