Legal Engineer

About this role

Legora is seeking a Legal Engineer in NYC to bridge the gap between legal teams and an AI-native legal work platform. You'll partner with top law firms and corporate legal departments to maximize adoption and impact, while serving as a critical voice bringing client insights back to shape product development.

What you'll do

• Build trusted relationships with major law firm and corporate legal clients, identifying pain points and scaling opportunities
• Own client onboarding and adoption journeys from pilots through firm-wide implementation
• Deliver product demos, training, and thought leadership on AI's impact across legal practice areas
• Feed client insights and learnings back to inform product roadmap and strategic priorities
• Develop best practices, scalable playbooks, and training materials for global team expansion
• Navigate complex technical conversations around generative AI implementation and ROI evaluation

What they're looking for

• Legal background from top-tier law firm or corporate legal department
• Product acumen and ability to navigate technical concepts, especially AI and automation
• Clear communication across diverse stakeholders (lawyers, engineers, clients)
• Process improvement and technology evaluation expertise
• Client relationship management and multi-stakeholder coordination
• Ability to translate between legal and technical disciplines
• Self-directed ownership with comfort managing ambiguity
• Structured problem-solving in fast-paced environments
