Legal Engineer Associate

About this role

Legora seeks a Legal Engineer Associate to bridge law and AI technology at their NYC headquarters. You'll support client implementations, design real-world use cases for legal AI, and translate user feedback into product improvements while working alongside legal professionals and technologists.

What you'll do

• Support client pilots, onboarding, and training to maximize platform adoption
• Design and evaluate AI use cases for contract review, research, and legal drafting
• Gather user insights and communicate actionable feedback to product teams
• Document best practices and contribute to internal deployment playbooks
• Test AI outputs and identify performance gaps across legal workflows
• Collaborate across Legal Engineers, Customer Success, and Product teams

What they're looking for

• Legal knowledge or experience (J.D. preferred or paralegal/clerk background required)
• AI and prompt engineering curiosity
• Technical problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Cross-functional communication between legal and technical teams
• Attention to detail and quality evaluation
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Workflow automation understanding
• Documentation and process design
