What you'll do

  • Design, prototype, and validate mechanical and mechatronic subsystems for surgical devices
  • Create 3D CAD models, drawings, and assemblies with peer design reviews
  • Select materials and components for precision, miniaturized mechanisms
  • Conduct hands-on testing and experimentation to validate performance
  • Partner with manufacturing on design optimization and design transfer
  • Document development activities per medical device regulatory requirements
