Jr Software Engineer

About this role

LG Electronics seeks a Junior Software Engineer to join the HVAC Control team in Alpharetta, GA, developing and maintaining control applications and systems for North American markets. You'll work across the full development lifecycle—from requirements to testing and release—while staying current with industry trends and collaborating with global R&D teams.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and maintain HVAC control applications using modern web technologies
• Set up test infrastructure and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with US and headquarters teams
• Gather requirements, write specifications, and manage development workflows from concept to post-release maintenance
• Collaborate with R&D teams on new product initiatives and related projects
• Monitor market trends in controls and technologies to inform product strategy
• Manage version control, release notes, and technical documentation
