Product Development Engineer I

About this role

LG Electronics seeks a Product Development Engineer I to support R&D and new product development for HVAC equipment at its Alpharetta innovation center. You'll analyze product performance, evaluate field testing data, identify design improvements, and coordinate with global labs to ensure US market readiness.

What you'll do

• Provide engineering insights and improvement solutions for new HVAC product development
• Analyze product performance data and field-testing results using statistical methods
• Identify design weaknesses and recommend improvements for manufacturability
• Communicate with R&D and factory labs to provide US usage-based engineering statistics
• Create data acquisition models for laboratory testing purposes
• Assist in preparing service, installation, and engineering manuals for US commercialization
