Life360's AI Lab is seeking an iOS Engineer II to build AI-powered features for a rapidly evolving family operating system. This design-oriented role blurs engineering, product, and design boundaries, requiring someone who can rapidly prototype new ideas and ship tangible products with minimal specs.

What you'll do

  • Transform rough concepts into clickable prototypes within hours using Swift and iOS-native surfaces
  • Build and iterate on key product surfaces including maps, widgets, Live Activities, Dynamic Island, and voice features
  • Make independent UI/UX decisions and collaborate directly with design and product teams on direction
  • Leverage AI tooling to generate code, write tests, and accelerate development velocity
  • Participate in product strategy discussions and push back on ideas that don't align with user experience
  • Ship to test groups, gather user feedback, and iterate rapidly in short feedback loops
