Integration Engineer (CRM/HRIS)

About this role

Light seeks an Integration Engineer to own all CRM and HRM connectors for their modern financial platform. You'll build and maintain integrations with systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, and BambooHR, working directly with customers and the Solutions Architecture team to ensure seamless data flow into Light's platform.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain integrations with major CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive) and HRM systems (BambooHR, Personio, Deel, Workday)
• Own integration patterns and shared libraries for CRM/HRM connectors
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations directly with customers during onboarding
• Document APIs and integration approaches to enable team scaling
• Triage and resolve production issues related to integrations
• Partner with Product to prioritize new connector development based on customer demand

What they're looking for

• Backend engineering (Kotlin preferred, Java/JVM acceptable)
• Third-party API integration design and maintenance
• OAuth flows, webhooks, rate limiting
• PostgreSQL
• CRM or HRM platform API experience
• Pragmatic problem-solving approach
• AI and emerging technology tools
• AWS exposure (EKS, Lambda, RDS) – nice to have
