Co-Op, Electrical Engineer

Lila Sciences is looking for an Electrical Engineering Co-Op to join their Hardware & Controls Engineering team in Cambridge, MA. The role provides hands-on experience in designing electrical systems for automated scientific equipment while collaborating with experienced engineers in a dynamic R&D environment.

What you'll do

• Create and update wiring schematics and electrical documentation.
• Support electrical design for automated scientific instruments.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Assist with process instrumentation and control devices.
• Document test plans, results, and design changes.
• Collaborate with engineers to automate lab workflows.

What they're looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical circuit theory and design principles.
• Exposure to CAD or electrical design tools.
• Familiarity with electrical components and control systems.
• Interest in industrial electrical standards and automation.
