About this role

LogicGate seeks a Software Engineer: Test (SDET) to build and maintain automated testing frameworks and AI-driven validation pipelines for their enterprise GRC platform. You'll design scalable test suites, expand coverage across the ecosystem, debug complex regressions, and mentor QA analysts on automation best practices in a remote/hybrid role.

What you'll do

  • Design and build scalable automated testing frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright, integrating AI-driven code generation
  • Write clean API and integration layer tests following the testing pyramid to ensure stable deployment cycles
  • Independently diagnose test failures and platform defects using logs, API data, and AI-powered monitoring tools like Datadog
  • Expand test coverage for edge cases and error conditions while guiding QA analysts on automation best practices
  • Partner with QA analysts to build their automation skills through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in Agile sprints with product, engineering, and DevOps teams on testing strategy and coverage ownership
