About this role

This role focuses on building and refining simulation environments that bridge generative models and physics-based simulations for training robot policies. You will design environments, develop evaluation harnesses, and scale generation pipelines using Luma's generative stack. The ideal candidate will have experience building simulation tools used by others and working at the intersection of generative models and physics engines.

What you'll do

  • Design visually rich and physically plausible simulation environments.
  • Build evaluation harnesses to assess simulation quality.
  • Develop differentiable and GPU-accelerated simulation pipelines.
  • Drive asset, scene, and task generation pipelines.
  • Collaborate with world-model and policy-learning researchers.
  • Scale and systemize pipelines for evaluation and training.
