DSP Engineer
About this role
Lumilens seeks a DSP Engineer to develop advanced measurement techniques and algorithms for ultra-high-speed optical and electrical serial data systems supporting AI infrastructure. You'll combine digital signal processing expertise with hardware design experience to improve measurement accuracy, reduce jitter, and advance photonic interconnect capabilities aligned with IEEE 802.3 standards.
What you'll do
- Develop and refine advanced measurement algorithms and techniques for ultra-high-speed optical and electrical signaling systems
- Improve TECQ/TDECQ measurement accuracy and related algorithms for product development efforts
- Support IEEE 802.3 standards-aligned measurement work and functional receiver measurement contributions
- Research and design tools for ultra-high-speed serial data applications in AI infrastructure
- Drive hardware improvements to reduce timebase jitter from current 250+ fs toward 100 fs targets
- Serve as subject matter expert on high-speed serial data measurements, bridging DSP and hardware design knowledge
