About this role
Lumin Digital seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to design and build self-healing security infrastructure for a cloud-hosted banking platform. You'll architect cryptographic lifecycle management, security telemetry pipelines, and compliance automation across hundreds of AWS and Kubernetes environments while leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools daily.
What you'll do
- Engineer security infrastructure including telemetry pipelines, cryptographic material lifecycle, and compliance automation across AWS and Kubernetes at scale
- Build and maintain agentic AI workflows using Claude Code, MCP integrations, and custom harnesses to automate security tasks like vulnerability detection and drift monitoring
- Design cryptographic material lifecycle systems with automated key generation, storage, rotation, and revocation as code
- Embed security controls into deployment pipelines to prevent vulnerabilities at build time using policy-as-code and automated playbooks
- Develop threat models, security telemetry systems, and architectural patterns for the broader engineering organization
- Support incident response, vendor evaluations, and security reviews while consulting on architectural decisions across teams
What they're looking for
- AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor) with production agent experience
- Python or similar capable programming language for infrastructure and security automation
- AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native containerized environments
- Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Security telemetry platforms (OpenSearch) and PKI/certificate lifecycle management
- MCP integrations and custom agent harness development
- Software engineering fundamentals: version control, testing, code review, API design
- Compliance automation and threat modeling
