About this role
Lumos seeks an experienced OSP Construction Project Engineer to oversee fiber network expansion in the Newburg, IN market. You'll manage multiple contractor teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive projects from construction readiness through closeout while coordinating across engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
What you'll do
- Own multiple OSP fiber construction projects from readiness through closeout
- Set expectations for contractors and hold teams accountable for safety, quality, schedule, and budget
- Inspect jobsites and ensure compliance with OSHA, NESC, and construction standards
- Track production, schedules, costs, and risks while providing stakeholder updates
- Coordinate permitting, materials, utilities, and municipal dependencies
- Resolve field challenges and community concerns with sound judgment
