About this role
Join Lyft's Fulfillment Core Services team to build and maintain distributed Python and Golang systems that power ride state management. You'll design fault-tolerant backend services, integrate new ride variations, and collaborate across teams to solve mission-critical ridesharing challenges.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy distributed backend systems for ride fulfillment
- Write well-tested, maintainable code and conduct code reviews
- Lead projects from conception through execution and monitor system performance
- Debug and resolve issues in fault-tolerant, large-scale distributed systems
- Participate in incident resolution and on-call support
- Communicate across teams to align on technical decisions and evangelize best practices
