Digital/Mixed Signal Design Electrical Engineer

About this role

Lynk Global seeks an experienced electrical engineer to design and develop complex mixed-signal PCBs for satellite spacecraft systems. You'll handle schematic capture, PCB layout, and board bring-up for high-performance boards featuring FPGAs, SoCs, and high-speed interfaces in demanding space environments.

What you'll do

• Design multi-layer mixed-signal PCBs with high-pin-count FPGAs, SoCs, and ADC/DAC components
• Implement high-speed interfaces including PCIe Gen 4/5, DDR memory, and 10/40/100G Ethernet
• Perform signal and power integrity analysis with pre- and post-layout simulations
• Develop power distribution systems for high current delivery at low voltages
• Engineer boards for harsh environments including thermal cycling and mechanical stress
• Collaborate with firmware and RTL teams on pinouts, voltages, and clocking architectures

• PCB design tools (Altium preferred)
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT)
• Board bring-up and testing
• Basic RTL/firmware development knowledge
