Electrical Engineer

About this role

Lynk seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop nanosatellite bus and communications payload hardware and software. You'll work across electrical, RF, and software domains to create circuit boards, firmware, and integrated systems that enable satellite-to-device connectivity globally.

What you'll do

• Design spacecraft bus and payload hardware including single-board computers, FPGAs, processors, sensors, amplifiers, and filters
• Create circuit board schematics, select components, develop layouts, assemble boards, and perform testing and debugging
• Develop firmware and test software for designed circuits
• Generate production-level tests and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in design reviews and conduct failure analyses
• Support integration, testing, and delivery of payload systems

What they're looking for

• Circuit board design and development (5+ years)
• Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium
• RF circuit design and simulation (LTSpice or equivalent)
• Experience with FPGAs, microcontrollers, single-board computers, and software-defined radios
• Electronic test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers)
• Linux-based systems
• Programming languages (C++, C, Python, MATLAB)
• Satellite bus design experience
