GNC & Astrodynamics Engineer (Constellation) - Mission Operations

About this role

Lynk seeks a GNC & Astrodynamics Engineer to design and implement orbital dynamics strategies for a growing LEO satellite constellation. You'll develop automated flight dynamics tools, manage collision avoidance systems, and oversee maneuver planning while serving as the technical expert for constellation operations.

What you'll do

• Review satellite telemetry to assess flight dynamics and ADCS health, recommending corrective actions and calibration updates
• Lead flight dynamics efforts during launch and early operations (LEOP) phases across the constellation
• Develop and enhance automated software tools for orbital dynamics analysis, collision avoidance, and maneuver planning
• Plan and execute satellite maneuvers including altitude adjustments, phasing, and deployment optimization
• Analyze constellation configurations to optimize performance and conduct long-term sustainment analyses including fuel budgeting
• Design safe deorbit strategies compliant with international debris mitigation guidelines
