Ground Station Systems Engineer - Mission Operations

About this role

Lynk seeks a Ground Station Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize satellite ground station systems supporting their constellation operations. This hands-on role bridges hardware, software, and operations teams to ensure ground stations are reliable, scalable, and mission-ready.

What you'll do

• Design and evaluate ground station system architecture including antennas, RF equipment, modems, servers, and networking infrastructure
• Conduct site analysis, selection, and integration planning with external partners and operations teams
• Define acceptance criteria, test plans, and readiness checks for new or upgraded ground stations
• Diagnose and resolve ground station performance issues across RF systems, networks, modems, and operational procedures
• Analyze performance trends and recommend improvements to availability, throughput, and resilience
• Develop technical documentation, CONOPS, operational playbooks, and troubleshooting guides
