Reliability Engineer – Performance & Life-Cycle Assurance

Mach Industries is looking for a Reliability Engineer to oversee the reliability lifecycle of UAS platforms and ensure they meet operational standards. The role involves data-driven strategies to predict failures, extend system life, and support defense applications in a dynamic startup environment.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain a reliability program for UAS platforms and subsystems.
• Define and track reliability and maintainability metrics throughout the design lifecycle.
• Analyze data to identify trends and root causes of failures.
• Oversee reliability testing and collaborate with test teams.
• Monitor reliability indicators and provide insights to leadership.
• Communicate reliability status and improvement plans to stakeholders.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant engineering fields.
• 5+ years in reliability engineering for complex hardware systems.
• Experience with FMEA and RCFA.
• Strong data-analysis and statistical skills.
• Experience in reliability testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of safety-critical system standards.
