About this role
Join Rainmaker's infrastructure team to build systems that integrate atmospheric science, autonomous aircraft, and weather monitoring technologies. You'll develop software that connects diverse hardware and data systems while supporting field operations and enabling continuous improvement through data collection.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain infrastructure systems connecting autonomous aircraft, radar, satellite, and sensor networks
- Support field operations through robust software systems and monitoring tools
- Build data pipelines that feed atmospheric and operational data into weather modeling systems
- Develop infrastructure for collecting and processing real-time operational data
- Collaborate with atmospheric scientists and domain experts to translate requirements into scalable systems
- Ensure reliability and performance of systems managing critical environmental data
