Infrastructure Engineer

About this role

MatX is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to enhance their compute-heavy and tooling-intensive environment for custom chip design. The ideal candidate will work on Linux and networking, build internal tools, and collaborate on infrastructure improvements while supporting the engineering team.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot OS, network, and cloud issues
• Develop scripts and tools to improve engineering efficiency
• Support and manage the infrastructure stack including compute and CI
• Onboard new engineers and resolve their environment issues
• Review and execute production changes cautiously
• Collaborate with system owners and take ownership of infrastructure areas
