DevOps Engineer (Weekend)

About this role

MEMX is looking for a Linux Platform Engineer to enhance operational excellence through engineering, monitoring, and automation. This weekend-focused position involves collaborating with teams to design and support scalable infrastructure solutions while troubleshooting and monitoring system performance.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with teams to build and maintain infrastructure for MEMX platforms
• Monitor and support scalable solutions in both on-premises and cloud environments
• Debug build systems and improve performance through analysis
• Monitor system capacity and perform root cause analysis for incidents
• Work with security teams to address software and hardware vulnerabilities
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 2+ years experience with distributed systems
• Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools
• Experience in configuring Linux servers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
