Site Reliability Engineer

About this role

Mercor seeks a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead production reliability for critical systems and shape their SRE practices. This role involves collaboration with infrastructure leadership and engineering teams to enhance system stability and efficiency.

What you'll do

• Oversee reliability and safety of core services
• Define SRE standards and production safety roadmap
• Enhance structure and stability of production systems
• Implement modern SRE practices across teams
• Collaborate with engineering and applied AI teams
• Advocate for SRE best practices during onboarding

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of SRE experience
• Experience in large-scale production systems
• Knowledge of SRE practices like error budgets
• Collaborative teamwork capability
• Ability to drive reliability culture
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes
• Background in IaC tooling
