Mercor is seeking a Software Engineer in Applied AI to develop and optimize systems connecting AI research with data delivery. This role involves significant ownership and collaboration with AI labs and clients, focusing on creating scalable data solutions and prototypes.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with AI labs to identify data and evaluation needs
• Develop scalable data pipelines for post-training models
• Create systems for synthetic data generation and quality control
• Prototype innovative data types and evaluation frameworks
• Lead technical discussions with customers
• Manage projects from requirements to production

• Experience with model training and inference
