Mercor is seeking a Backend Engineer to develop and maintain core platform systems that ensure secure and scalable operations. The role focuses on building infrastructure related to contracts and identity access management, requiring a strong background in backend development and a high degree of ownership.

What you'll do

• Develop backend infrastructure for contract workflows and payouts
• Design and maintain identity access systems for secure operations
• Collaborate with engineering leads to translate operational needs
• Enhance security, reliability, and developer ergonomics
• Contribute across teams on high-priority platform initiatives

• 4+ years of experience in production systems
