About this role
Metron, an employee-owned national security firm, seeks a Software Engineer to develop backend infrastructure and frontend web applications for simulation and optimization software. What you'll do
- Write backend infrastructure and frontend web applications for simulation and optimization software
- Design and implement well-structured, maintainable code for probabilistic physical system models
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle from concept through deployment and analysis
- Collaborate with Research Scientists and other engineers on cross-functional project teams
- Participate in algorithm design, prototyping, and data visualization efforts
- Communicate technical design concepts and performance metrics to stakeholders
