About this role

Metron seeks a mid-level software engineer to design and develop production-quality software for mission-critical simulation, optimization, and decision-support applications. You'll translate advanced algorithms and research prototypes into reliable, maintainable systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a national security environment.

  • Build and maintain production-quality software for mission-oriented analysis, simulation, and decision support

  • Contribute across full development lifecycle from concept through deployment and sustainment
  • Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and end users to understand needs and deliver practical solutions
