About this role

Metron seeks a mid-level SDET in Reston, VA to design and build testing infrastructure for mission-critical simulation and decision-support software. You'll develop test harnesses, mocking systems, and automated testing strategies across Java, Rust, and TypeScript applications while integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Develop and maintain robust test harnesses and mocking infrastructure for production applications
  • Design and implement automated and manual testing strategies across multiple technology stacks
  • Build and integrate testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and end users to translate technical requirements into testable software
  • Improve software quality and reliability through scalable, maintainable testing practices
  • Support full-stack web application testing across various frameworks
