MGT Insurance is seeking a Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring across our G&A functions and other operating roles that keep MGT running. Reporting to the Senior Talent Lead, you will manage the end-to-end recruiting process for a wide range of roles simultaneously, from individual contributor hires through senior manager searches.

This is a generalist recruiter role at MGT and we are hiring across many different functions at once. You will need to context-switch quickly including sourcing a Corporate FP&A candidate one day and screening a Legal candidate the next, while continuing to maintain a high bar and a great candidate experience throughout. The right candidate is energized by variety, comfortable operating with a variety of open roles, and skilled at quickly getting smart on new functions well enough to sell the role and assess candidates credibly.

What You'll Do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for G&A roles including Finance, Legal, People, Corporate Development, and other operating functions from intake through offer

• Run intake sessions with hiring managers to understand role scope, must-have qualifications, and what will make a candidate successful

• Source candidates directly through LinkedIn Recruiter, outbound outreach, referrals, and other channels as this is not a purely inbound-screening role

• Screen candidates for both qualifications and motivation and get comfortable quickly on unfamiliar functions well enough to represent the role and MGT credibly

• Manage a high volume of concurrent searches across different functions, levels, and hiring managers without letting any one process stall

• Coordinate and schedule interview loops, gather and synthesize interviewer feedback, and drive timely debrief and decision-making

• Own the candidate experience end-to-end driving timely communication, clear expectation-setting, and a smooth, professional process from first touch through offer

• Partner with hiring managers on offer construction, negotiation, and closing candidates

• Maintain accurate pipeline data and reporting in MGT's applicant tracking system

• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for recurring or anticipated G&A roles

• Continuously improve MGT's recruiting processes, templates, and practices as the company scales

What You Bring

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a track record spanning multiple functions (not a single specialized vertical)

• Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates directly — not solely managing inbound applicants

• Comfortable managing a high volume of concurrent searches across different roles, levels, and hiring managers

• Strong communication skills — able to represent unfamiliar functions credibly to candidates and manage hiring manager expectations clearly

• Experience using an applicant tracking system to manage pipeline and reporting, including ownership of data hygiene and configuration

• High ownership and organizational discipline where nothing falls through the cracks even when juggling many open roles at once

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting at a startup or high-growth company, ideally in a generalist or G&A-focused capacity

• Experience with Ashby specifically

• Insurance, fintech, or financial services industry recruiting experience

• Experience recruiting for both individual contributor and senior leadership roles

• Experience building recruiting reports, dashboards, or process documentation

• Comfort using AI tools to improve sourcing, screening, or recruiting workflow efficiency

Location

Hybrid position 3 days a week based out of San Francisco, CA office

Compensation

$95,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus 10% bonus and equity.
