AI Compliance and Systems Engineer

About this role

The AI Compliance and Systems Engineer at Minitab will be responsible for integrating AI governance within enterprise systems, focusing on technical oversight of AI tools and workflows. This role requires evaluating vendors, supporting AI management, and ensuring compliance with regulations while enabling the safe adoption of AI across the organization.

What you'll do

• Design and implement technical controls for AI usage
• Support secure AI tool integrations and compliance
• Conduct technical due diligence on third-party AI tools
• Translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications
• Monitor AI system usage and risk signals
• Provide technical advisement to teams deploying AI capabilities

What they're looking for

• Experience with AI/ML systems and security engineering
• Hands-on knowledge of LLMs and AI platforms
• Proficiency in API integrations and data pipelines
• Understanding of AI system architecture
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to evaluate technical implementations of AI
• Strong knowledge of data security and access controls
