Product Engineer

About this role

Mintlify seeks a product-focused engineer to build user-facing features for a documentation platform serving 100M+ developers annually. You'll own full-stack projects from conception through launch, leveraging deep expertise in either frontend or backend while staying adaptable across the stack.

What you'll do

• Design and ship customer-facing functionality end-to-end with design and engineering teams
• Tackle complex technical challenges like rendering optimization and content management systems
• Refine user experience from working code to polished product
• Profile and optimize application performance at scale
• Drive product direction and engineering decisions with agency and ownership

What they're looking for

• 4+ years software development experience
• Deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript OR backend systems design and database optimization
• Strong product intuition and user-centric thinking
• Systems design and scalable architecture
• Willingness to work across frontend/backend as needed
• API architecture and infrastructure knowledge
• CSS architecture and state management
