About this role
Mintlify seeks a Support Engineer to resolve developer issues directly—writing code fixes, building AI automations, and closing tickets at the source rather than escalating them. You'll partner closely with engineering to ship production patches and identify patterns that prevent future support requests.
What you'll do
- Investigate and resolve customer technical issues independently, shipping fixes directly to production
- Open pull requests in codebases to patch bugs and improve product behavior
- Build AI-powered agents and automations to streamline issue resolution
- Identify patterns across support cases and communicate insights to engineering and product teams
- Respond to technical and product questions in the support inbox with speed and precision
- Own customer relationships and support queue management directly
What they're looking for
- Strong engineering foundation (CS degree or equivalent shipped projects)
- Full-stack technical troubleshooting and independent problem-solving
- Experience building with AI tools, automations, or LLM workflows
- Proficiency writing production code and opening PRs
- Exceptional written communication
- Customer support or developer-facing technical role experience
- Builder mindset with drive to automate repetitive processes
- GitHub activity demonstrating real project work
