About this role
Mirage is looking for an ML Engineer to enhance large language models for complex multimodal tasks, particularly in video. This role involves tackling innovative challenges to create agentic systems that improve the future of creative expression in media.
What you'll do
- Design and develop end-to-end agentic systems for creative tasks
- Advance large language models through novel training methods
- Create objectives and datasets to improve agent performance
- Research multimodal reasoning and structured generation in creative contexts
- Conduct experiments to evaluate agent efficacy in real-world applications
- Establish evaluation frameworks for video analysis and editing workflows
What they're looking for
- BS/MS/PhD in CS, ML, or related field
- Experience in building production ML systems
- Deep knowledge of transformers and LLM techniques
- Expertise in fine-tuning and post-training methods
- Ability to manage both model experiments and deployed systems
- Strong experimental and analytical skills
