About this role
Mobius is looking for a Range Safety & Flight Termination Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency by ensuring safety and compliance of flight termination systems during tests. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in defense and aerospace, along with expertise in autonomous systems and range safety protocols.
What you'll do
- Act as Range Safety expert during flight tests and working groups
- Oversee requirements development for flight termination systems
- Support hardware and software development and qualification
- Analyze and resolve range safety issues independently or in teams
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Communicate effectively in oral and written formats

- 10+ years in defense and aerospace
- Familiarity with autonomous flight termination systems
- Flight test range safety experience
- Proficiency in Range Tracking Systems
