About this role
MORSE Corp is seeking a Chief Engineer for Battle Management to lead the design and development of critical web and mobile applications. The role involves setting the technical vision, guiding project teams, managing program execution, and serving as a liaison with customers and partners.
What you'll do
- Define and articulate the technical vision for Battle Management systems.
- Lead Agile, multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and developers.
- Develop intuitive software applications for warfighters.
- Manage program execution ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
- Act as a liaison with government customers and industry partners.
- Identify new opportunities and lead technical proposal efforts.
What they're looking for
- US Citizenship required, security clearance preferred.
- Master's or PhD in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years in leadership of technical teams.
- Expertise in real-time distributed systems design.
- Knowledge of sensor fusion, mission planning, or electronic warfare.
- Leadership in modern software development methodologies.
- Business development experience within the DoD or IC.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
